How the time is counted, in simple words
- Driving: every 12 hours of driving is one day (₹1,450–1,550). Hours left over: up to 7 are ₹120 each; more than 7 count as one more full day. A drive shorter than a day: ₹600 for up to 3 hours of driving, then ₹120 an hour; more than 6 hours = a local full day (₹1,000–1,200).
- After he hands over the car, the time until he is home counts — waiting for his train too: each 24 hours is ₹1,200; the hours left over are ₹120 each, and more than 6 hours count as a full day (₹1,200). So 56 hours = 2 days + 8 hours = 3 days. For example: he drops the car on 2 Oct at 12 PM and his train leaves at 3 PM — that is 3 hours of waiting, then the hours on the train until he reaches home. If he changes trains (Bengaluru → Nagpur → Raipur), the wait at Nagpur for the second train counts too.
- The final bill uses the real times; a late train adds hours, an early one saves them.

Can I travel with the driver and my car?
Yes. Many one-way drops are families travelling in their own car. The driver drives you to the address you give, then comes home on his own by bus or train. The price is the same whether you ride along or send the car alone: ₹1,550–1,650 for each 12 hours of driving.

Is the driver’s way home included?
It is charged by the hour, from the drop until he is home — waiting for his train included: ₹120 an hour — more than 6 hours in a day counts as a full day (₹1,200). From your start date and time the estimate works out when he drops the car, the first train home he can catch that day and when he is home (Raipur → Nagpur: about 6 hours; Raipur → Mumbai: about 23). The final bill uses the real times. You book his train or bus ticket.
How many days will my drop take?
About 600 km — 12 hours — of driving a day, resting at night. From Raipur, Nagpur, Jabalpur or Visakhapatnam is one day; Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai or Delhi two; Bengaluru or Chennai three.
